JT Flight School lessons for December 2025

Dec 7th

Luke 1:5-17 “In The Wait-waiting is hard but worth it.”

The purpose of this lesson is to discuss that in the Gospel of Luke, we find the story of Christmas

didn't begin in the manger; a lot happened before that special night. The Hebrew people had been

waiting for a Savior for hundreds of years. It had been about 400 years since the last prophet had

spoken for God. Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth remained faithful and obedient to the Lord

while they waited patiently into old age to be blessed with the promised child (John the Baptist),

and how we must also remain faithful and obedient as we wait on our promised lands from the

Lord.

Dec 14th

Luke 1:67-80 “In The Wait-being prepared as we wait on the coming of the Lord”

The purpose of this lesson is to discuss how in times of waiting in our lives, we can trust God's

plan and that He is at work. Nothing takes God by surprise. In the wait there was great

expectation and probably also fear of the unknown for those who lived it. This Christmas may

we keep our eyes and hearts open with great expectation of all God has ahead of us even to the

second coming of Christ. The world may seem scary, but God is in control and can be trusted

with it all.

Dec 21st

Isaiah 9: 1-7, Luke 1:26-38, Luke 2: 4-20. “The Prophecy and Birth of the Savior Jesus Christ”

The purpose of this lesson is to discuss the Prophet Isaiah’s words concerning the coming of the

Savior, and to remember all the great miracles and God orchestrated events surrounding His

birth.

Dec 28th

Luke 2:21-39

The Purpose of this lesson is to discuss that though the baby Jesus appeared to be an ordinary

male child, the prophets Simeon and Anna saw the Lord waxed strong in the Spirit.
