It’s that time of year again as we prepare to celebrate our graduates! We thank God for this special milestone and the accomplishments of our students.

JORDAN TEMPLE CHURCH GRADUATE RECOGNITION POLICY

Introduction 

Each year, Jordan Temple Church celebrates the academic achievement of our congregation with a special graduation recognition program. These events honor graduates from grade school, high school, vocational school, or college marking important milestones in their academic and spiritual journeys. Understanding the qualifications for participation in the graduation program helps ensure that every eligible graduate is recognized and celebrated appropriately.  

This document outlines our requirements and expectations for participation across all grades. Grade school graduation is often a child’s first major academic milestone. High school graduation is a significant achievement, often marking the transition into adulthood. College graduations are celebrated as the culmination of years of academic and personal growth. 

General Qualifications 

a.    All graduates must be active members in good standing, attending weekly services on a regular basis.  

b.    The individual must be graduating from grade school, high school, vocational school, or college. 

Expectations for Participants 

a.    We expect that every graduate will fully participate in all rehearsals and activities leading up to the graduation ceremony.   

b.    Graduates will be required to wear a gown. If they do not have a gown, they will be provided with a white gown. Caps can be worn at their discretion.
